Equity by Design: Adopting a Rubric to Audit Your Work

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

The purpose of this session is to support participants to move toward an equity audit of a program or work environment. After getting to know each other through an icebreaker and introductions related to motivation and the program or work environment they want to or have already audited, participants will be guided in small groups through a process of researching tools, ideation, and developing categories for an equity audit rubric. Groups will then share their ideas, and facilitators will share the rubric generated in their work environment.

By the end of this session, attendees will:
  • Articulate why an equity audit rubric could be valuable for their program or workplace
  • Identify resources and tools that can contribute to auditing equity for their specific program or workplace
  • Have experienced collective processes that can lead to an equity audit rubric.
